MCH Auxiliary plays a huge role in the success and customer service at Monroe County Hospital. The Auxiliary members are our ambassadors or good will as they greet visitors, deliver patient mail, juice and pediatric gifts. They operate the gift shop and sponsor a pre-school hand washing education program and tour for the area schools. MCH Auxiliary donates their time and energy to the success of Monroe County Hospital. MCH Gift Shop MCH's Gift Shop is open from 8:00 am until 3:00pm Monday -Friday. The gift shop offers patients, family member, and visitors a variety of gift ideas. The Tree of Love The Tree of Love is an annual fundraiser that is sponsored by the Auxiliary to raise money to buy needed hospital equipment. In 2008 the auxiliary donated $15,000 to the hospital from the funds they raised in 2007. The Tree of Love celebration is held every December at the Monroe County Hospital. Tree of Love "In Memory" and "In Honor" names are read by board members, the CFO and the CEO. Then the lighting of the Christmas tree on the front lawn follows.
