MCH Names Biggest Loser

Monroe County Hospital’s employees participated in a year long weight loss program in 2007 in conjunction with the Scale Back Alabama program. Employees who participated in the 8 week scale back program were encouraged to keep the weight off by joining the year long program which they had to weigh-in every month for the year. Vicki Kiefer was awarded the Biggest Loser on January 21st. She lost 11.5 lbs. and has kept it off. “I started Scale Back 1 year ago, and yes, it was a struggle because I love sweets. You can do anything you put your mind to do. I’ve worked very hard for this by drinking plenty of water, exercising, and getting plenty of rest,” stated Kiefer. Vicki has been employed at Monroe County Hospital for ten years, and is currently working in Patient Registration. Vicki received a check for $100, a two day stay in a condo at the beach donated by Dr. Jeff Fahy, and 8 hours ETO time. Congratulations Vicki!!!!
