Cindy Sales, RN receives Certification as Lactation Counselor Cindy Sales, RNC, CLC at Monroe County Hospital recently received credentials as a Certified Lactation Counselor after attending a week long course on lactation. Since then, Cindy has begun working toward her IBCLC (International Board Certified Lactation Consultant) a step further than a counselor. Long ago, Cindy became aware of the void in lactation (breastfeeding) services at Monroe County Hospital. She recognized the need the patients and their families had for lactation education and support, and also the need that the staff had for lactation education.
