Fun at Heart to Heart

The heart to heart health fair was held on February 18, 2010 at the Community House in Monroeville. Vendors and participants alike weathered the cold to come out and enjoy this years health fair. Approximately 27 vendors were present to provide free health and safety information. MCH provided free blood work, blood pressure and blood sugar test. Everyone from the community and surrounding areas were invited to attend. The heart to heart health fair was founded by MCH Cardiopulmonary director, Jerry Sailors back in the 90's. "This annual health fair is designed to offer residents of Monroe and surrounding areas a free health fair where they can come out and not only have health screenings done, but they can also pick up free health and safety information" stated Kim Sheffield, MCH Public Relations Director. The Heart to Heart health fair is sponsored by Monroe County Hospital, Monroe Health Foundation, and the Monroeville Chamber of Commerce.
