Dr. Pamela Barber Joins MCH Medical Staff
Monroe County Hospital is pleased to announce the addition of Colquitt, Georgia, native Dr. Pamela Barber to the hospital’s medical staff! “We are so excited to have Dr. Barber join our staff,” said MCH CEO Chris Johns. “She will be an asset to our hospital and our community!”
Internal Medicine Specialist, Dr. Barber, joins MCH from a partnership in the Internal Medicine Group of Albany Primary Healthcare. Before joining the Albany Group, Dr. Barber practiced at Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna, Ohio.
She completed her internship and residency in Canton, Ohio, and attended East Tennessee State University’s Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia Southern University in Statesboro, Georgia, where she was a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and recipient of the Minority Academic Achievement Award.
Her past accomplishments including teaching “Attending in Internal Medicine” for the Medical College of Georgia, Mercer University School of Medicine, and Morehouse School of Medicine. Her professional memberships include the American College of Physicians, American Medical Association, National Association of Doctors, and National Medical Association.
