Construction Underway on Cancer Treatment Center Plans are progressing nicely for the Monroe Health Foundation's Cancer Treatment Center construction project. The building will be equipped with a state of the art linear accelator and simulator. Residents of Monroe and the surrounding counties will no longer have to travel far for radiation therapy. Radiation oncologist Dr. Bill Hixson looks foward to meeting the needs of cancer patients in our area.
